Sponsorship Transfer

Changing sponsor has a strict order of steps. We keep them in sequence so nothing lapses in between.

A sponsorship transfer moves a residency file from one sponsor to another: between employers, from an employer to a family sponsor, or the other way around. The sequence matters – the old file has to be closed correctly before the new one can proceed, and the gap between them needs managing so no overstay accrues.

We coordinate both ends of the transfer, keep the two sponsors informed of what they each need to provide, and make sure the new residency is issued before the grace period runs out.

Documents Required

  • Original passport
  • Current visa and Emirates ID copy
